Less Packaging.
If you prefer not to receive any additional wrapping with your order please do make a note on checkout and we will provide the least packaging possible.
Our swing tags and paper collateral is made entirely out of recycled paper collected from hotels and businesses here in Bali. Cut the swing tags off and dip the swing tag in water, find a gorgeous pot and bury it a few cm down. Ensure the pot has loads of sunlight and a bit of water each day. You should start to see sprouts in 14 days. Innika is here for all the dressing (both basil and linen alike).
Mailers.
Made from Recycled Plastics, this recycled mailer gives plastics already in circulation a second life. It has a second adhesive strip so that the mailer can be reused once more, and once it has served its purpose, you can recycle it where soft plastics are accepted.
You'll notice our garments do not come in added plastic, this is because we collect and reuse all poly bags for each production. Our manufacturer supports a truly circular use of plastic where possible, and accepts back the old bags to repack and reuse each season. It's just a short trip from our manufacturer to our office so it's a perfect opportunity to reduce any waste at all by re-using what we already have.
Calico Bag.
We have created bags here in Indonesia, to protect your garment on it’s journey to you, and to store your beautiful smocks in when travelling, or to take to the markets when picking up the weekly veggies. If you do not want additional calico bag at checkout do let us know. If you are in Bali we accept these back and will launder and re-use.
Tissue paper, tape and stickers.
Unlike many wrapping papers, our eco-friendly tissue paper is 100% circular and can be composted or recycled after use and won’t leave behind any chemicals when decomposing. Our custom packing tape is water-activated, which allows us to print on non-glossy/wax-coated paper. They biodegradable, hence why having water-activated paper tape is a positive for packaging sustainably.
